Just a quick post to say Rapture is currently having multiplayer troubles. Looks like Google have changed something and it’s affecting online play so players can’t connected to each other.

We’re putting together a fix at the moment and hoping to have it up very soon.

    the ones in the northern latitudes would eventually get smarter than the ones further south because the smarter ones would survive better.Yet historically both the europeans (Greeks and Romans) and the Asians (Chinese, Indians etc) have considered the people of the far north as baarrbians.All of the earliest human civilizations arose in the hot south. Clearly your model is flawed.
